Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts this shop and processes orders on our behalf.
  • Our payment processor, which handles your card payment.
  • The supplier and carrier who pack and deliver your order. They receive your name and delivery address only.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Facebook and Instagram), if you agree to advertising cookies. We use Meta's advertising tools to measure whether our ads work and to show ads to people like you. When you visit the shop or buy something we send Meta the pages you viewed and what you bought, along with your email address, phone number, name, town and postcode in a scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match you to an account without us handing over the details in readable form. Meta uses this both for our advertising and for its own purposes, and acts as a separate data controller when it does. You can read what Meta does with it in the Meta Privacy Policy. If you decline advertising cookies we send Meta nothing.
  • Our accountant, and HMRC, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we never will.

Transfers outside the UK

Some of our service providers are based outside the United Kingdom. Where your data is transferred abroad, it is protected either by UK adequacy regulations or by an International Data Transfer Agreement with the recipient.

How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records: 7 years, because tax law requires it.
  • Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics data: up to 26 months.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email las@zvbrands.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Cookies

We use three kinds of cookie.

  • Strictly necessary cookies run the shop and remember your basket. These are always on, because the shop does not work without them.
  • Analytics cookies tell us how people use the shop so we can improve it. We only set these if you agree.
  • Advertising cookies let us measure our ads and show them to the right people. This includes the Meta pixel described above. We only set these if you agree.

You can change your mind at any time. If you withdraw consent we stop collecting from that point, and you can email us to ask us to delete what we already hold.
