About Clarty

Clarty sells one product: an IPL hair removal handset at £129.99, delivered in Great Britain. This page is who we are and how we work, in plain terms.

Who's behind it

At home in Surrey, where Clarty started

Clarty was started by Jane, a beautician from Surrey. For years she did the same thing her clients did: paid a salon £200 to £500 a course to get hair removal done, and went back every time it wore off.

The idea came from the treatment room. The light-based method she'd used on clients worked, so she wanted a version that fitted a normal week at home. She tried the handsets on herself first and kept the one that felt like a warm snap rather than a sting.

That's the whole product. One handset, 5 intensity levels, a skin-tone sensor, plugged into the wall. She still tests every batch on herself before it ships.

Why one product

We would rather do one thing properly than twenty things averagely. One product means one supplier relationship to manage well, one manual to know inside out, and one set of promises we can actually keep. If we add a second product it will be because it earned its place, not to fill a page.

Why this product

A course of salon IPL typically costs £200 to £500 per body area, and the branded at-home devices cluster around £170. The handsets all work the same way: intense pulsed light, absorbed by the pigment in the hair. The Clarty handset has 5 intensity levels and a built-in skin-tone sensor, and it plugs into a normal UK socket. We sell it once, at £129.99, and the current discount is applied automatically at checkout. That is the whole transaction.

How we keep the price down

We are a UK company and we hold no stock. Your order is packed and posted directly by the maker, which is why delivery takes 5 to 10 working days rather than next day. That trade is deliberate and we say so before you buy, not after. The full detail is on our delivery page.

What we will not tell you

We will not promise you permanent anything. We will not quote you a percentage from a study we have not run, put a person in a lab coat next to the product, or call it painless when what it actually feels like is a warm snap. The rules on what a device like this can honestly claim exist for a reason, and plenty of adverts in this category ignore them. We tell you what it is, how it works and what it feels like, and the 14-day return exists so you can judge the rest for yourself.
